Tour Da Northeast
Rennen/Intense regains team points lead

10 straight days of riding in the Northeast portion of the country, and all within a seven hour drive! Back to back national race weekends, a summer
camp and a pre national clinic. Now that’s how a team earns it’s keep.

Our first stop was in Horseheads, NY (Find Binghampton, NY and head West for another 70 miles. There you have reached the middle of nowhere!)
for an ABA national. Friday’s rainy practice session didn’t stop road trip attendees Courtney Applewhite (17+ girls) and Austin Loebe (16x) from picking up wins on Saturday and Sunday to help Rennen/Intense to two Factory Team wins. Pat Parker also picked up a pair of wins in 19-27 expert, while TJ Maniscalchi (11x), and Myself (28-40x) scored seconds.

After Sunday’s mains we packed up and headed four hours East to Bethel CT for our 6th annual summer camp. Kayla Gaddis, Allen Currier, Myself, Courtney and Austin headlined a great four day camp experience. Day 1 saw 38 attendee’s, while rain on Tuesday cut into that figure Wednesday and Thursday’s numbers ran right back up. Thursday’s Precision Fitness training session left us all (campers and instructors) a little drained, but most had something left in the tank for a G-Cog testing session to conclude the camp.

Friday morning we made the half hour jaunt over to Trumbull, CT for a mid day pre national clinic and practice session. Once again the weekend of national team racing was dominated by the Rennen/Intense squad. Austin, Courtney and Pat once again took home a weekend double. On this
weekend they had a little more help on the team sheet. Randy Bitinaitis (40-44cru) controlled his class, as did Rochelle Wooding (13 girls) and
her brother Ross (17-24 cru). Max Egdorf had little trouble in owning the 17-18 expert class as well. Others in attendance in support of the team
were: Kelley Kelley (41+ X), George Costa (26-34X), Kayla Gaddis (Elite Women), Dave Maltezos (26-25x), Nicole Bitinaitis (11 girls) and even an appearance from “the” Justin Lopes (30+ open).

With these two wins Rennen/Intense once again took control of the NBL National Team overall point’s lead! Overall for the trip, four team wins and
over 75 different kids giving instruction, not bad for 10 day period.

Next up for the team is another ABA national event in Raleigh, NC in Mid August, other then that we plan to rest (meaning tear up and local money
open in sight), and heal up till the NBL year end show down in Louisville, KY on Sept 3rd to the 6th.
