Chris
Meaker wins 5th
national main event in a row. Using his Intense Podium frame, Chris won both
35 and over Expert class main events in Pottstown. His current streak began on
day two of the ABA’s Charlotte national, rolled through both days of the NBL
South Park tournament and should very well continue next weekend in Delaware.
Allen Currier picked up a third in Day 2’s Elite Open class main event. Bad luck on Day One kept Rolling Thunder on the sidelines, but Allen bounced back on Day Two with a great finish.

Rolling
Thunder Allen Currier works his way through day two’s Elite Open main
event for a third place finish. Here he battles Lance Maguire and Jason
Sherrill. |
Saturday was a long day for us, but we are the hardest working team out there so it comes natural. During the delay in between the semis and mains we keep the crowd enthused by having a good old fashion product toss to promote our after race clinic later that day. Riders and fans got great goodies from PowerBar, Finish Line, Adio, Cane Creek and Fly!

The
crowd goes wild at our 4th national product toss this
calendar year. Gaddis looking like at “Rock Star” in Pottstown. |
Day one’s racing saw numerous wins from the Bizzarro team. Starting it off was Kayla Gaddis in the Elite Woman’s Open class follow by Meaker in 35 and over. Then Dave Bedford beat teammate Dave Maltezos and the rest of the 30-34 Expert class. Next up was Courtney Applewhite in the 14-15 girls class, with Austin Loebe winning the 14 X class just a few mains later. Loebe was INCHES from doubling for the day in 14-15 open, but was passed at the line by Felt’s Buck Taylor. Susie Levan finished up the wins in the 35+ women’s cruiser class. Team sheet wise we finished with an 84, picking up some points in the over all team battle. Normally second with only three teams pays nothing (no idea why some TM’s feel the need to exaggerate about that), but thanks to the Glenn Knapper and the great people at Trilogy Park BMX and the town of Pottstown, all three teams were awarded bonus money for competing on day 1.

| Alex Frey leads a group of 13 Experts down the third straight. |
Day
two saw an even higher team sheet score, but a very tight battle for team
points left us with a third just 2 points from the win. Once again picking up
a few more points towards the yearend title chase. Gaddis, Meaker, Loebe and
Levan all repeated their winning ways. While Maltezos turned the tables on
Bedford and won the 25 to 35 combined expert class.
Next
up on the team schedule is an ABA stop in Milford Delaware the 11th
and 12th of August. Look for Chris Meaker to continue his winning
ways, Austin Loebe to continue to work his way back from his shoulder injury
and Crossen, Frey, Currier and Murray to make an impact on the main events in
the nations “First State”.
