Coming off another superb NBL Grands finish Bizzarro started out the 2008 points season on a good note picking up two 90’s and two wins in Woodward PA. Bonus points landed in our laps and we ran with them to say the least. Max Egdorf and Randy Bitinaitis both donned the Bizzarro colors again and lead the team with 23 points a day each. Allen Currier showed his new found power and landed a 2nd in Elite open on Day 1, then tangled with the leading on Day 2 and both went down.

For 2008 Bizzarro has entered into a partnership with legendary BMX corporation Profile. Look for team riders to be using fine products from their large line of BMX goods.

Allen Currier (Elite Open) – Found a new training partner whose not hung over everyday or spending summers in the can and it’s paying off. He rode his Podium frame to a podium finish in Elite Open on Day 1 with a 2nd behind Phil D (MCS). Day 2 Allen and Phil tangled while battling for the lead and went down, leaving the door open for Lance Maguire to take the win. Allen’s time is still coming; this is by far not a peak we’re seeing now.

Max Egdorf (16X) – Maximum Max dominated the 16x class all weekend long.

Nicole Bitinaitis (8 Girls) – Following in dad’s footsteps she picked up her first national win on Saturday in 8 girls. Father and daughter exchanged big smiles and high fives.

Austin Loebe (14 X)– Dominated the 14 x class.

Erik Meyer (8X) – After being bed ridden for 4 days with a fever over 100 he dominated the 8 expert class.

Susie LeVan (35-39 ladies cruiser)– Brought her cold to the cabin and enjoyed her time spent with Uncle Frank. Look for her to be Podium mounted in the next few weeks.

Dave Bedford (26-34X)– Axel extended his streak of winning at Woodward to three years in a row.

Randy Bitinaitis (35-39 cruiser)  – Is this his 2nd, 3rd or 4th return to Bizzarro??? Two wins over some busted up tired old men on two fours. But this should be motivation enough to keep the training schedule inline for a winter race weekend.

In other team news a return has been confirmed and training will soon begin for a Bizzarro team member who's been in hiatus for over a year now. Stick a fork in it?????????

Up next for the team is a trip to Disney!
